Firstly I must say a massive thank you to you and the McBaile team.  I know we talked late and that numbers where ever changing, however you guys really hit the spot. My general experience of caterers working in a green field has been that you get nothing but complaints and issues to deal with. This simply was not the case with you and your team. The feed back I have had has been nothing short of ‘excellent’, and that’s really important to the Fiesta and its members, The 100 Club. So, unless something unforeseen happens, and subject to my clients approval, I see no reason why we can’t start planning for next year. Please thank you and the entire team – you were simply SUPERB. Langford Live in support of Teenage Cancer Trust

Last weekend (9 – 10 September 2011) the prestigious Langford Court just outside of Bristol transformed into a boutique music festival in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. For the weekend, Lady Paula Wills bravely opened their private residence, Langford Court to the public to create Langford Live. The festival took shape in two parts, on Friday 9 September guests attended a black tie Opera evening and on Saturday 10 September a mini rock music festival took place.

Over £70,000 was raised over the weekend from ticket sales, raffles, auctions and donations. Over 300 guests attended the Night at the Opera event, enjoying a lavish three course meal while being entertained by the London Festival Opera. Simon Fowler and Steve Cradock from Ocean Colour Scene performed an exclusive acoustic set to headline Saturday’s festival and were supported by other artists including The Union, premier tribute band to The Who, The Whodlums, The Wild Mercury Sound, Mighty Rufus and Dr Jazz.

“We’re absolutely delighted that the event was such a success and raised as much as it did for the Teenage Cancer Trust South West      Appeal. The support we received from guests and the national and local businesses that helped to make this event happen really was incredible. It couldn’t have happened without them.” Lady Wills, patron of Teenage Cancer Trust in the South West
