Wedding @ Mapledurham House

Laura and Robbie were married at Mapledurham House, Oxfordshire last weekend. The glorious weather added to their perfect day and many congratulations to the couple from the whole McBaile wedding catering team.

A selection of delicious canapés and a Pimms reception was served in the stunning estate grounds, followed by an English themed country buffet and a vintage afternoon tea which was especially appreciated by the American guests.

Dear Laura and all your team,                            I know Laura and Robbie will be writing to you and sending some photos too but on behalf of Steve and I, we would just like to say an enormous thank you for being part of what can only be described as a truly magical day. Without your input it would not have been so successful. You were truly a delight to work with and made the whole event so much easier to organise. thank you so much and if we need to organise another big event (fortunately no more daughter’s weddings!) Literary Lunch

The literary lunch was a fundraising event in aid of  The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust. Held at Rainscombe Park, near Marlborough, the event was hosted by Lord and Lady Hiscox with guest speaker Freddie Forsyth .

A canapés and champagne reception in a marquee was followed by three course sit down lunch for 150.

The food on the day was excellent. It was by far the best and the lovely touches were appreciated. We will definitely be working together. I expect that we raised about £12,000 for the charity so a great day all in all.

 Confit fillet of Scottish Salmon infused with lemon thyme, salad of young leaf herbs and baby new potatoes in a caper dressing

 Chocolate praline mousse with rum soaked strawberries and almond scooping biscuits

Selection of local and regional cheeses with quince, fig chutney, oaten crackers and grape

Badminton 2012 Cancelled; huge disappointment for all those involved including McBaile Exclusive

McBaile Exclusive were working alongside Danco Marquees this year to provide the 2012  jubilee themed hospitality catering at Badminton Horse Trials.

‘The recent exceptional rainfall has left the ground at Badminton totally waterlogged and partially flooded.  Further rain is due this week leaving no chance of the ground drying out.  Very sadly therefore the 2012 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials has been cancelled.

The McBaile team, along with thousands of other suppliers, exhibitors, riders and visitors were hugely disappointed but we look forward to providing catering at the 2013 event.

Mr & Mrs McBaile…the Big Fat Kiwi Wedding

Directors of McBaile Exclusive, Rod McCormick and Laura Bailes were married on the 25th January 2011 at Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown, New Zealand. It was a beautiful day, with fabulous food, wine and stunning views across vineyards and lakes. Rod managed to stay out of the kitchen, just, although Laura couldn’t help running around keeping the staff organised!

Happy memories and back to the UK at the end of Feb for a busy 2011 of catering and coordinating other fabulous weddings and events.

After much debate they won’t be changing their name to ‘McBaile‘ but will keep it as McCormick, although I’m sure the company name will stick, even with friends and family nonetheless!
